About Us

Badge of Hope is a registered Canadian charity committed to standing behind those who serve and beside those who’ve endured. With a mission of backing the protectors and supporting the survivors, Badge of Hope exists to serve two deeply connected groups: the law enforcement officers who carry the weight of protecting others, and the victims and survivors – especially of child exploitation and abuse – who often go unseen and underserved.

Recognizing the complex toll that trauma, stress, and crisis take on both sides of the justice system, Badge of Hope partners with trusted frontline organizations that are already making a difference. By funding wellness programs, counseling services, emergency support, and recovery resources, the foundation helps extend and sustain access to critical care – delivered by those best equipped to provide it.

Founded by Jad Saliba – a former police officer, digital forensics investigator, and co-founder of Magnet Forensics – Badge of Hope is built on lived experience and a deep understanding of the pressures faced by both investigators and survivors. It is a bridge between those who pursue justice and those who are healing from injustice.

At its core, Badge of Hope envisions a world where protectors are never left to struggle alone, and survivors are never forgotten or left behind – each given the support they need to heal, thrive, and hope again.
